The new Year 12s!

Year 12 are beginning their AS course looking at a 'Collection' of toys and childhood memorabilia.  They have made a great start recording in a wide variety of materials.

Year 8 & 9 Trip to London

Last week the whole of year 8 and 9 went to London on an Expressive arts trip. We visited TATE Britain so the Year 8 students could see the Lowry exhibition as they are studying his work this year. We then saw The Lion King at the Lyceum theatre as Year 9 studied this musical in drama and music last year. Everyone really enjoyed their day and got a huge amount out of the experience.

 

Year 10 Art Visit to Tring Natural History Museum

Year 10 have kickstarted their project entitled 'On the Wing' with a visit to the Natural History Museum in Tring.  Here they found a huge collection of winged insets and birds to inspire their initial drawings.
