Year 11 prints in progress

 As the Year 11 Natural Form projects near completion the girls start to create their final outcomes. Here are two examples of final prints which will be turned into dresses.

 

Sea Life Centre Visit

The new academic year began with a 'splash' as Year 10 paid a visit to the Sea Life Centre in Birmingham to gather visual resources for their first project. They were able to take many inspirational photographs and drew lots of the fantastic creatures and plants on display to visitors at this amazing attraction.

 

A fantastic end to a fantastic year!

Time to celebrate!

Come and join us for an evening of celebration as we look at work of students from years 6-12.  There will be musical performance, dance, a fashion show and an exhibition of artwork. The girls have worked very hard this year and we intend to celebrate in style!

Exam season is upon us! Good luck everyone

Things are very busy in the art department at Leicester High School; what with the successful show, Alice in Wonderland, before Easter and the exam immediately after we've barely had time to sit down!

Year 11 Expressive Arts Residential to London

A fabulous cultural experience was had by all who came on the recent trip to London. What a brilliant way to start the externally set tasks for art, music and drama! The girls were buzzing with excitement as they absorbed the many varied activities that we undertook(Cirque de Soleil in rehearsal was an added bonus!).
