Year 8 & 9 Trip to London
Last week the whole of year 8 and 9 went to London on an Expressive arts trip. We visited TATE Britain so the Year 8 students could see the Lowry exhibition as they are studying his work this year. We then saw The Lion King at the Lyceum theatre as Year 9 studied this musical in drama and music last year. Everyone really enjoyed their day and got a huge amount out of the experience.

Year 7's Art Inspired by Giorgio Morandi
The Year 7's have been working on drawings inspired by Giorgio Morandi. They have used cross hatching to emulate his etching technique. They thoroughly enjoyed this project and their final pieces show how their hard work and patience paid off. The attention to detail and awareness of light and shade produced stunning works of art.
